The story of my life.
Always follow your dreams.
....POWER and POSITIVE ENERGY....
Since childhood I have been passionate about sports, exercising and showing clients what they can achieve if they create the right mindset and energy. In my early years I started as a streetdancer. During highschool I created a passion for teaching and that is how I became a streetdance and HipHop instructor whilst studying a Bachelor of Sports at the CIOS, in the Netherlands, from 2007 - 2011. I have continued to develop my skills and knowledge in the field of fitness since that time. I am a specialist instructor in BodyAttack and BodyPump (Les Mills), Fitness, Crossfit, HipHop, Aerobics/Steps, Spinning, HIIT and many other classes.
In 2015 I competed with the best Les Mills trainers in the Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany), for the title of International Bodypump instructor of The One ‘15. I made it to the finals and was first in my category. In 2018 I competed at the highest level of the Crossbox Throwdown in Meppel and finished in third place.
After 6 years off full-time work, I wanted to learn more about human anatomy and physiology, and specifically sports injuries and rehabilitation.
In order to do so, I started the full time Physiotherapy programme at the Amsterdam University of Applied Science (HvA) in 2017. The Physiotherapy program offers the opportunity to further develop myself as a trainer and will help me towards my goal of becoming a personal trainer and an international sports Physiotherapist abroad.
In my second year of my Bachelor of Physiotherapy I did an extra module in the specialisation of elite sports with the soccer team AFC-AJAX in Amsterdam. This has opened my eyes even more for the love of sport and rehabilitation work. My next goal is to specialize and further develop my skills in the world of sports and rehabilitation abroad, and it is this goal that brought me to Australia.
In 2019 I have done a 20 week during Physiotherapy internship in a private practise in Gladstone, Queensland in Australia. After a year of travelling, farmwork in the outback of Queensland and working in multiple gyms in Wollongong and Sydney. I got an opportunity to do another 20 week during Physiotherapy internship at JW Physical Health and the Waverley Rugby Club in Bondi what I have finished in june 2021.
I am now focussing on the mental health by adolescents in juvenile detention in Suriname and the health by Dutch students after studying from home during lockdown. Starting in Australia and now continuing the study in the Netherlands.
My AIM is to make a change in the world by gaining as much knowledge as possible in Physiotherapy, Sports, instructing on stage and coaching others in order to health and exercising worldwide.
I find it completely rewarding to be able to assist clients in achieving their goals with exercise and fitness in order to contribute in a positive way within their lives. It is amazing to be able to see clients grow in self-confidence and to see a positive change in their mental and physical well-being. Teaching others gives me the strength and satisfaction to continue doing what I do and love the most, and that is to help YOU to achieve your goals.
My other passion includes travelling, music, hiking, watersports, experiencing different cultures, beliefs and ways of life. These experiences are very inspirational to me and have helped me to grow into the person I am today. I am full of life, open minded, hard working, motivated, reliable, and I love challenges.
I am looking forward to working with you, to help you to achieve your goals and dreams.
Be who you really want to be and always follow your dreams.
PTP - For a better you.
